Josh has a background in door-to-door sales, software, and solar. He’s hired and trained various teams in his career. So when the team at Indigo started talking about how to enrol more students for their growing cohorts, he immediately thought about all the back and forth he used to deal with when hiring.
"There’s gotta be an AI that does this," he thought.

The name Indigo is inspired by Elizabeth “Eliza” Lucas Pinckney, an 18th-century entrepreneur who defied expectations, gained an education, and transformed agriculture by cultivating indigo into one of the most important cash crops of the time.
Renaming the agent to Eliza gave the team a way to tie that story back to their mission, and gave candidates a small, meaningful detail to discover.

The tech works, but so does the team. "The whole team has been honestly amazing. I can reach people after hours. They respond. They care. It feels like a real partnership."
Josh also brought up how the platform responds to feedback. Whether it was scoring issues or UI bugs, things got addressed and fixed fast.
"There was even a little thing, like the search bar was being really annoying. I mentioned it and almost overnight it was fixed. That was so awesome."
